About Dr. Meredith
Dr. Meredith attended college at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania from 1981 to 1985. While at Immaculata she double-majored in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Meredith earned membership in Sigma Zeta, The National Honor Society for Mathematics and Science.
After competing her studies at Immaculata, she moved on to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (now Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine). Dr. Meredith completed her Degree in Podiatric Medicine in 1989.
She completed her residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.
While on a school trip from Immaculata to the Bahamas, she met her husband Steve and later moved to Giles County to start a family and practice. Dr. Meredith has been a Podiatrist for 24 years. After her residency, Dr. Meredith opened her first office in Pearisburg, Virginia. She expanded her practice just a few years later to Blacksburg and opened New River Valley Podiatry & Foot Surgery.
In April of 2009, Dr. Meredith moved her practice to Mississippi, for family reasons. While in Mississippi, Dr. Meredith devoted the last five years of her practice to diabetic related foot problems and wound care. Podiatry and patient care have always been Dr. Meredith's greatest passion.
